When playing a guitar and you can't seem to get that guitar riff right, you keep on trying but you fail every time you try. Your fingers always seem to get caught in between the strings, and you pick couldn't catch up with your mind. But you don't want to quit, getting this riff is just what you want to make yourself feel competent and elated from your own inferiority. Your own failures tease you that you will never be like the guitar gods. The only thing you can do is hold your breath while your doing it. Let your breath out when you fail again, and hold it back in when your doing it another time. Patience dude, you'll get it fine. Don't get intimidated by that piece of metal fiber. Keep that rhythm in your head like a mental metronome and play that riff. Tell your pick to listen to that metronome and keep your fingers alert, you have enough dexterity to keep them moving. I'll get that riff right, even if it would take me months.

I can do this, I'm not inferior. I'll get her to go with me.. oops!
